I've noticed a bit of a surge in visits to the blog recently - yesterday saw more than 300 visits, which is a new record for a single day and something of a milestone. So to all the new folk, I hope you enjoy my little part of the interwebs and please do keep checking back.
In terms of upcoming content, a review of David Gemmell's Stormrider should be appearing shortly, and I realised the other day I never posted my thoughts on Iron Man and 30 Days of Night, so I'll try and post them as soon as I can. Hopefully a couple more guest posts will materialize in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Aidan's posted the artwork for Robert V. S. Redick's The Rats and the Ruling Sea. Personally it does nothing for me at all, so don't be surprised if it makes a 'crap fantasy book cover' feature in the near future... Incidentally, I won't be reading this novel as I read the first book in the series and didn't think an awful lot of it.
Graeme has posted a review of The Secret War by M. F. W. Curran. Saw this one recently, and thought it looked interesting. Graeme gives the book a solid thumbs-up, so I'll probably check it out.

I hate to be the annoying person, but is there any way you can make your color for links more noticeable? At least for posts. I find it really hard to tell the difference between text and links and have probably missed quite a few of them...
If not, that's cool. It would just save my eyes.
Fair point, and I must admit I've thought about it myself as I've noticed on my macbook they don't look that clear. I'll look into it!
