More artwork from Sub Press version of Gardens of the Moon

I've unashamedly stolen this beauty from Pat's Fantasy Hotlist...simply because it's too cool not to post here. I dribbled like the pathetic fanboy I am when I saw the below depiction of Anomander Rake. 'Awesome' doesn't do it justice...

Meh. Rake is/was my favorite character, and I love the fact that he's *black*.

So as the Son of Darkness-- shouldn't he be maybe a bit less white bread? Something besides the usual (white, or in this case, poorly lit gray) elf?

Rake saved so many in typical Rake fashion, even when he is slain it is by his own hand and moment of choosing. Deseem is ruined. So it is Toblakai who will taked down the crippled god after all. Well, have to say that he would not have lasted 5 min and by his own admission against Rake. And not many can stand against Toblakai and trade blows. Nothing wrong with the photos but Rake is the son of darkness, he needs to be really black
