Cornwall photos

Nipped down to Boscastle in Cornwall for the weekend to attend a family gathering. Great to be back after 12 years, and it was good to see the town has recovered well from the horrendous flooding a few years back. Although it was sadly a very short visit, I managed to have a walk around the towering cliffs in the wonderful October sunshine. Figured I'd share some of the photos with you all.

These pictures are just another reason why I want to go to Europe. One day I'll cross that great divide...

Beautiful place.

We have great landscape, too, but not that sort. So it made sense for the Rosamunde Pilcher novel-based films to be done with German actors but shot in the UK, mostly in Cornwall. The landscape was the only reason I watched two or three of those. :)

Of course I'm an American, but I want to see more than just England. When I say "I want to go to Europe," I definitely mean "Europe," not just England. There's so much history, so much beauty, so much that I want to see. All of the UK would be amazing, but so would Germany, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, France, Romania, and Spain. It's just much easier to say "Europe" than list a group of countries.
