I'm starting to get jealous of French genre fans...

...because they are beginning to get some seriously awesome book covers. Remember the wicked French cover for Brent Weeks' The Shadow's Edge?

Well, the same artist - Frédéric Perrin - has now delivered a cover for James Enge's The Blood of Ambrose:

I very much like the colours and the atmosphere of this cover - and not a hooded figure in sight! Lovely jubbly.
