Goodkind sells out all the faboy darling authors too.Mr James your in a losing battle there.Only you and a bunch of girly bloggers think so.and their girly readers.
1) Don't hide behind the anonymous veil of the internet and throw petty insults around - it's pathetic. Grow some balls and post under a proper identity, then I might take you seriously.
2) I have no idea what you're even trying to say. Yes, Goodkind outsells most of the 'fanboy darling authors' (whatever that is meant to mean). But your point is what, exactly?
Wowza, I liked Parkinson's covers but that kicks all kinds of ass!
I'm a self confessed Goodkind fan, I'm afraid. Though the philosophy stuff did annoy me (and the evil chicken was laughable) but there was something there that hooked me. He's the reason I got so into the fantasy genre, so I he can't be all bad, hehe. In retrospect though, that cover art does make it look more awesome that it actually is :P
Speculative Horizons is a UK-based blog dedicated to discovering the best in speculative fiction. Here you'll find book reviews, author interviews, artwork for upcoming releases, and commentary on all aspects of the genre.
A child of the eighties, I was raised on a steady diet of Ghostbusters, Thundercats and Transformers. I eventually discovered fantasy books via the awesome Fighting Fantasy series, and my love of fantasy led me to create Speculative Horizons, a popular book review blog I ran for three years. In 2010 I joined Orbit to work as an editorial assistant.

Make even a Brooks book look good ?
This is the same brooks that outsells all the internet fanboy darling authors right ?
No, I'm talking about Terry Goodkind - the ego-monster who writes books full of yawn-worthy 'philosophy' and evil chickens.

Right, a couple of things to point out:
1) Don't hide behind the anonymous veil of the internet and throw petty insults around - it's pathetic. Grow some balls and post under a proper identity, then I might take you seriously.
2) I have no idea what you're even trying to say. Yes, Goodkind outsells most of the 'fanboy darling authors' (whatever that is meant to mean). But your point is what, exactly?
I too am rather impressed by this awesome cover for a very crap-tastic author. I'll have to keep this in mind for when I finally get published. :)
