If you fancy a taste of the novel that won the first Gemmell Award, Andrzej Sapkowski's Blood of Elves, then you can check out an extract here. I made a half-hearted attempt to probe Jon from Gollancz on the matter a few weeks back, but he didn't give anything away - I think they're well drilled on that one! ;-)
