RobOakes said...: While I don't write fiction, my experience with editors of scientific journals has been much, much worse. I had one copy editor refuse to publish my article due to some language issues. While I initially fought it, after three months of being in publicaiton limbo finally convinced me to capitulate. I then got a nasty letter from the editor and chief blaming me for inflexibility. It was not a pleasant experience.; 10 January 2009 at 15:22
