Interesting to see that it's got more in common with the cover for book four rather than the previous three covers, in the sense that there's more going on around the figure both in the background and foreground - I quite like the flames beneath the author's name. Overall, while it does feature the much-maligned 'hooded figure', I think the image is a good one and that this is - from a commercial point of view - a strong cover.

Wow. Very cool. I'm looking forward to the US release of the series.
I really like that cover. I don't know how else to say it, but it gives me a strong Raiders of the Lost Ark vibe. I think it's the coloring.
It's amazing how much better that one is than every other book in the series - both the US and UK editions.
Indeed a really good cover. According to Amazon UK The Scarab Path shall be published in July 2010. Is this information trustworthy?
This cover really doesn't do anything for me. The art is good, but it doesn't make me want to read (or more important to the publisher buy)the book. Covers are a feelings thing for me.
Nice cover, I agree that it's an improvement over the first ones.
ediFanoB - Yep, I think that date is trustworthy. The book's already written and presumably edited, so don't see why this date will be missed.
Seems nice enough but yet again the publisher has changed the cover design mid series - arrrrgh! The text is still the same but it doesn't have the border design.
Ah well, what can you do? There are two of 'em coming out this year so can't complain too much!
Nice, I like this cover much better than the previous one.
